boys
"I wanted to tell him how I'd cried. I wanted to tell him about my crazy night. I wanted to tell him how mixed up I felt. But I couldn't. One of the strangest things about breaking up is that suddenly the person you always turned to for sympathy and compassion is the last person in the world you can turn to for sympathy and compassion. You lose more than a boyfriend. You lose your friend. Overnight, they had become a complete stranger to you."
I got this quote off a website but it seems to perfectly describe my life right now. Let me backtrack real quick and explain the events of the last couple of days.
Ok, first there is the boyfriend. Andrew. Met him the first week of college and started dating. Now, the first semester of this year went by very quickly with us enjoying a healthy, happy relationship. But then he returns from christmas break with doubts. He's afraid he didn't get to meet as many people, he's not sure if he feels the spark anymore...blah blah blah. Now, i obviously don't understand what's going on. but thats ok. i told him how i felt and left it at that for about two days. two very akward days. then i talked to this guy Bobby about the situation, who helped me to kind of clarify my own feelings on the subject. While this helped, it also managed to prove the above quote even more. anyway, to finish the subject of Andrew, we're ok now. not sure how long that will last but at least the crisis is somewhat averted.
now, through into the mix a really smart, funny guy. Bobby. this is a problem. going through this stuff with andrew has given me more time with bobby. i like talking to him. this is a problem. bobby is best friends with andrew. so i feel like i might be stepping over the line a little. but i mean, if he has someone to talk to, shouldn't i?
