the dilemma
The dilemma...what to do about my failing relationship.
its hard to decide what to do because i don't really know whats going on. as they say, "it takes two to tango" and that is certainly true but how can you know the steps if the other person isn't dancing with you?
Here's the situation: we've decided to go back a few steps in our relationship, from living together to back to dating. I thought this would be a good thing since it would give us a chance to remind ourselves why we're dating in the first place. sort of rekindle our feelings. so after deciding that, i asked him out on a date for this friday. nothing special, just dinner and a movie. and that seemed to go over well...but now its wednesday night.
Today was a little akward because i've had to curtail most of my behavior around him. for example, usually, i would have woken up with him, gone upstairs to shower and get ready, gone to class, and then met up with him again for lunch, then class, and then dinner with him. and in all the free time i had, i would have been with him in his room. instead i didn't see him all day. he called me for lunch (good sign?) but i was in class and didn't answer so he went alone. then i finally met up with him for dinner.
dinner...
ok, dinner was kind of a strange affair. we sat with three people who i'm not that close to (two of which i don't know at all!). this made conversation difficult. therefore, i seemed like the quiet, moody little bitch in comparison. also one of the girls was next to him and kept touching him. not sexually mind you, but just enough to kinda show she was "chummy" with him. yuck.
this is what i'm afraid of. i mean, if i'm comparing us, is he?
