dad's visit
so dad came to visit on saturday. that was really nice because its not often that i get visits from parents... what with them living on the other side of the world and all :)
we hung out for a bit while i put music on his new ipod and then went to dinner. we went to ruby tuesdays and then to harris teeter to get groceries... i even got a coffee maker :)
its the cutest little thing. its one of those coffee makers that uses the "pods" instead of filters. therefore there is no mess! :) and its delicious :)
we also hit Barnes and Noble for some books. i got a ton of Italian books (like cd's and verb workbooks) and a really cool book about the Spanish Flu of 1912. its weaves together narratives from William Welch (founder of Johns Hopkins Medical School) and John D. Rockefeller and even Woodrow Wilson. it looks really cool but i don't have time to read it yet :( oh well.
so yea, about the pics for below... i've been trying to get them situated but i'm having trouble loading them. so check out the webshots instead...
