The big first date...again

today andrew and i had our second first date. i know what your thinking..."you only get one first date". well, apparently not. all you need is a little crisis in your relationship and the decision to slow down and start over.

the date went really well i think. we went to see "Sideways" which was hilarious and then followed that up with a nice dinner at the Hardware Store. the best part, in my opinion was the invitation i gave to him the day before. i wanted to make him laugh a little so i sent him this:

Dear Sir,

You are cordially invited by Ms. Caitlin O’Grady to a private screening of the highly recommended and award nomination recipient “Sideways” at 6:50 pm, which is to be followed by a fantastic dinner at the Hardware Store. These events are to take place on the Downtown Mall and your presence is requested for 6:15 pm on January 28, 2005. The transportation has been arranged by the City of Charlottesville who will be providing a special Trolley for this event. The dress for this event is casual chic. Please be aware that t-shirts are not permitted. Jeans are acceptable if in good condition.
