More than what meets the eye

I feel like everytime i go out with bobby, he learns more about me, but i learn very little about him. he's a mystery. every now and then, he'll make a little offhanded comment about something and i just look at him and wonder "who are you?".

granted, everything i learn, i like. but i feel like i could know him for a century and still only know a fraction of what actually makes up bobby.

he said "i could have my first million made by the end of this year". say what? i tried pressing him about it...but apparently its a secret. or so his lawyer told him. what does a college kid need with a lawyer? i think its some kind of invention maybe? i just don't know.

we were talking about futures and kids and stuff...he's just really great about all that stuff. he is just so put together that i am just incredibly impressed. also, he doesn't laugh at me when i tell him what i want to do.

my mother would probably laugh at me. i want to go to law school, become a very high paid attorney in a firm or something, be married by 24, work till 30, then have kids and stay at home with them. i freely admit that i want to be a stay at home mom. i feel like that will give me a better relationship with my children. and i think i'd be really good at that! i also make no secret that i want kids soooo badly...just not yet!

its sort of a scary thought that if my plan goes correctly i'll be a mommy in 11 years... i mean, what does it feel like to have a little person depend entirely on you??? i'm scared but excited! i can't wait. maybe this is a side effect of watching WAY TOO MUCH home and garden television lol. i just think i'd be really good at it. i'd be the kind of mom who goes out of her way to make life fun. i can't wait to decorate my house, my kids rooms...everything!

i know so many girls in today's world want to get out there and work and be successful and just so accepted among men in their industries. i do have ambition in life, its just in a different direction. i want to be successful as a lawyer...but i also want to be successful as a mother. i think having a healthy, happy family will equal my pride at my job.

maybe i'm just old fashioned. maybe this is what happens when your raised by nannies. but i can't wait. i just want to be prepared fully for the arrival of children. thats why i want to work myself so hard until i'm thirty. i am going to be saving every penny i can so that my children will come into the world with they're mom being ready for them. i want to have a nice nest egg set aside so that any need they have will be taken care of.

hhmmm...mabye i just need a pet....that would probably ease the mommy cravings lol
