waiting...

well, its monday and i can't wait for friday...

so of course (!!!) this week will move soooooooooo slowly

but its worth it! cause tyler comes friday!!!

i'm so excited! this trip was NOT planned out months in advance like most of our visits so its just a really special chance to see him :)

plus, the 4th of May is our 9 month anniversary so we can celebrate it a bit in advance :)

and this means that we'll only have two weeks in between visits!

i just bought my tickets for boston after exams... headed up there the 12th to the 22nd. then off to moscow the 24th, arriving the 25th (damn time change...) and immediately to work so i can make lots of money to use to visit tyler next year lol

actually, his pay checks make mine look pitiful.

i guess Goodrich is a really great place to work. today he had the former CHIEF ENGINEER OF THE HUBBLE TELESCOPE PROGRAM come into his office to ask if he thought it was too cold in the building too...

wtf?!

thats crazy. who knew that a former tire company could grow into this multibillion dollar aerospace company??????

sigh, sometimes i wish i was a software engineer. that way everything would be laid out perfectly after graduation. i mean, his STARTING salary is already 80-85,000 dollars. thats ridiculous.

mica was telling me about how our generation is considered the "entitlement generation" because we feel we should all be able to get really good jobs right out of college because we are college educated. and i think people like tyler are continuing that mentality because he IS getting a good job right out of college. siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiigh.

i dunno, its funny i guess... sometimes i feel like i just want to be a stay at home mom and be able to do jobs i enjoy instead of focusing on making money. but then on the other hand, i'm so thankful that bobby and i broke up because all the preasure of getting so serious so fast was just tearing me apart.

i guess its true that you learn from every situtation. being engaged now (he bought the ring and everything... yikes!!!) would be awful for me since i still have 2 years left! and law school after that! lol, everytime i think about getting married i laugh to myself because it just seems so silly :)

so yea, noooooooooo kids for me until i'm at LEAST 29-30 lol. and while i can see a future with tyler, i'm NOT even going to think about that until i graduate from undergrad.

actually, thats kind of a big thing. i was thinking about that the other day: what do you do when you graduate and you've been dating for 2+ years? (which is where we'll be by then if we stay together)

obviously, i'd want to move closer to him. but not at the expense of my law school stuff. so i guess if i got into a school i wanted to go to and it was in the same city as his job offer... would we live together? we wouldn't get married, thats for sure, until i finished school... but living together? what if we drive each other nuts? lol.

its going to be strange being up in boston for so long (11 days) because we've never been alone together that long... lol what if we run out of stuff to do?

i doubt that will happen but it will be a sort of prelude to living together. show us what it could be like... :)

wow this post got remarkably serious, remarkably fast.

anyway, back to lightness, tyler comes friday and i'm excited and living for the minute! so you know what? the future can wait, and it can just happen as it happens. :)
