Breakup details

it occured to me the other day that i had never really explained how andrew and i became "friends" again. its actually kind of funny that such a tumultuous, confusing relationship would end in such a quiet, peaceful manner. it just sorta slipped away...

first we were hanging out with bobby and levent playing monopoly (oh yea, we're super cool!) and that was alot of fun...although i think for future reference, i would suggest not playing monopoly with business majors!

anyway, after we finished the game, bobby and levent left. so it was just us. and we started talking and somehow got on the subject of us...i guess you could say it was the 6 ton elephant in the room...and we sort of mutually agreed to be friends.

i was really shocked...not by the idea of being friends...but with how ok i was with it.

basically, they say "hindsight is 20/20" and that is definately true for me right now. i had been sort of thinking about things in the past which had sort of showed me that andrew maybe wasn't the right guy for me. and little things were starting to bother me...which is always a bad sign. just little annoyances i was having with him.

anyway, so we decided to be friends and then hung out just talking and joking around about our new singledom. it was kinda nice having the pressure off.

but now...andrew is acting weird. i mean, we chill sometimes and thats good, but i've been spending alot of time with bobby just so that i have something to do. and i like talking to him (as is obvious from earlier posts!). now andrew takes little digs at bobby when he's not around and bobby does it to andrew.

ok, example: andrew, levent and i were supposed to meet up with bobby and his friend for dinner. i tried calling him a couple times but got no answer. so andrew says "yea, bobby is really unreliable"....which was weird since he's always had nice stuff to say about bobby. but lately he's been saying little comments like that alot...hmmmmmmmmmm weird.

and then a bobby example: we were talking over AIM and this is how the convo went:

CutieCaitie1: hey
kingbob: hey :-)
CutieCaitie1: how's the studying coming?
kingbob: lol i just woke up
kingbob: i have my one class in 45 min
CutieCaitie1: haha me too
CutieCaitie1: mine got cancelled
kingbob: and im gonna go live at the lib after
CutieCaitie1: so just one at 4
kingbob: lucky
CutieCaitie1: aw, that sucks
CutieCaitie1: which lib?
kingbob: im staring at my auctions .... umm alderman if you care to join me :-) ill be in the back room on your right as you walk in
kingbob: and prob get there at 1:00
CutieCaitie1: hmmm...maybe i'll see ya there. i don't really have any work so unless i suddenly remember some (which is a def possibility lol)
CutieCaitie1: ok, i'll let ya know
kingbob: haha
kingbob: ok
CutieCaitie1: i don't want to hinder your studying though
kingbob: thats true... there is no room for eye candy while studying
CutieCaitie1: haha you see any?
kingbob: lol
CutieCaitie1: jk
kingbob: ill tell u if i do
CutieCaitie1: haha
CutieCaitie1: i can't wait to hear about it lol

CutieCaitie1: i think my bracelet has been delivered
CutieCaitie1: and the valentine for andrew too
CutieCaitie1: but i'm giving it until 3 just in case

CutieCaitie1: cause sometimes it gets there after noon ya know?

CutieCaitie1: and then they have to sort it
CutieCaitie1: i dunno...doubt it...he was never very romantic
CutieCaitie1: well, thats not true, he was in the beginning
kingbob: ... romantic isnt the word lol

CutieCaitie1: anyway, i'm going to jump in the shower. i'm thinking lunch at 1 if you want to come and get some energy for studying lol
CutieCaitie1: of course, it is newcomb so there is always an outside possibility that it will kill you

see what i mean? this is getting a little odd...but they are still ok together so i dunno.

bobby and i are going to see "Hitch" on valentines day...first we planned to go saturday and then last night we were hanging out talking and he was like "how bout valentines day instead?" so i didn't really know how to take that. so i just kept it light and was like "sure". i mean, i don't want to jump into another relationship but i like being with him so i'd rather we stay good friends...for now...
