small update

so i talked to my dad about the moving out stuff. mostly about how i was going to call Charlottesville Self Storage and figure out how to sign up for a spot. but then he reminded me that i actually have $700 i can spend on the move. well, thats the amount the state department has set aside for reimbursement.

so thats actually really good news because now i can use UVAstorage. this company comes and picks up all your stuff (after you pack it yourself) and then stores it for the summer and brings it back when school starts.

pretty good actually.

so yea, thats the good news from today.

bad news is i can't shake this exhaustion that has been dogging me all day.

i think its the change in the weather. i mean, its cold and gloomy out after days and days of beautiful sunshine and warmth.

sigh.

tonight heading over to alderman for the first time all year. Charlotte and i were there to pick up books the other day and found the McGreggor room...

its really cool actually (as nerdy as that sounds).

it looks like its from Harry Potter or something.

anyway, i'm going in the hopes that i will get both papers done tonight.

i have to write a 2 page paper (pretty dumb assignment actually) about Yeltsin's policies and what not for my Russia Since 1917 class. its not hard especially since i lived there during his presidency. and i saw him this summer at the Fed Cup tennis tournament lol. kinda cool.

i also have to write a 6 page paper for Emergence of Modern Britain. this is also not that hard since its on three movies and i already kind of figured out what i'm going to write about and how i'm going to connect them all together... its just that BECAUSE its easy, its hard to start. sigh.

but yea, getting those two out of the way would be awesome. cause that way all i have to do tomorrow is rewrite my Italian composition, do laundry, and pack for the weekend.

oh, i'm also packing up one suitcase with all my work clothes and some sweaters that i want to take with me to moscow so i can get it out of the way at least. i'll leave that with sylvie's mom this weekend.

so yea... busy night. but i'm hoping to be at the library by 7ish so that i won't have to be there all night.

i also want to review a bit for my italian oral exam tomorrow. what sucks is that there really isn't a way to study for this because we don't know what the topics will be. so last semester i reviewed a couple of verbs which are generally useful (go, come, to be, to know, to like etc) cause vocab is much easier to remember.

i guess thats all for now...

tyler comes friday! and arrives at 720 at Reagan. so i am planning out my drive so that i get there at 7 at the latest. i'm pretty excited to have him here :)

but something funny that occured to me: despite flying out of or in to Reagan countless times, i have actually never flown anything other than Delta (thanks to the state department) so i've never even needed to go to the opposite side of the airport. weird.
